Matt  Telfer - Saxophones - Band Leader

Matt Telfer. Endorsed by Yanagisawa and Vandoren Reeds Matt is a popluar face in the London jazz clubs. Preaviously Matt Hosted The Pizza Express, Dean Street Jam session and currently hosts The Vandoren Jam Session at The Spice of Life. A versatile performer, Matt has performed with Tony Bennet, Rick Braun, Chuck Leob, Derek Nash, Dave O'Higgins, and Jim Snidero. Matt has played many of the UK's great venues and festival including, Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express, Jazz Cafe, Love Supreme Festival, Canary Wharf Jazz Festival and Ealing Jazz Festival.

Andy  Davies - Trumpet

The Andy Davies Quartet is currently the resident band at the famous RONNIE SCOTTS UPSTAIRS JAM SESSION every Wednesday night.

He has worked internationally with artists from different styles of music including The Ronnie Scotts Allstars, Nigel Kennedy, Lea DeLaria, Lianne La Havas, McFly, Will Young, Gilles Peterson, Shabaka Hutchings, Ian Shaw, James Pearson, Guy Barker, Jamie Cullum, The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Renato D'Aiello, Mark Lockheart, Jim Mullen, Nigel Price, Julian Siegel, and Benet Mclean.  

Gabor  Dornyei - Drums

Gabor Dornyei is a versatile musical chameleon, who plays comfortably in all styles. He's completed the 3 years long Thriller World Tour in pop music and also a big time jazzer, and played with Laurence Cottle and Jim Mullen amongst many others. He's also a worlwide endorser of Pearl Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, Vic Firth Sticks and Tycoon Percussion.


Chris  Jerome - Keys

Chris is a dynamic and versatile keyboard player, pianist and composer, who has performed and recorded extensively with a multitude of ground breaking artitsts. He has worked with Courtney Pine, Tom Jones, Mica Paris, Osibisa, Hugh Masekela, Maxi Jazz (Faithless) with The Soul Food Cafe, Beverley Knight, Jamelia and Sister Sledge.

Miles Danso - Bass

Miles is one of London’s most in-demand bass players. He has worked with many of the UK’s top artists including Pharaoh Sanders, Courtney Pine and The Cafe Society All Stars.  Miles is a regular feature on the U.K and international jazz scene.


Paul Pace –Narrator – Vocals

A key member of the Ronnie Scott’s bookings team since 2009, Paul first visited the club to see US tenor sax star Zoot Sims in 1972. He then caught the live performances of many living jazz legends including several by Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Over the past 18 years Paul has promoted primarily local jazz talent at the Spice of Life, Soho, as well as performing at various venues in his own right as a vocalist. He also possesses extensive experience in specialist record retail (9 years at Ray's Jazz), is an avid collector and unwavering champion of the music. In 2008 he received the All-Party Parliamentary Award for Services to Jazz.
